Harassment by management is a reason to think about changing jobs. But this is far from the only way out of this situation, because an overly annoying boss can and should be fought in ways that do not imply dismissal.
Talk to the boss who is harassing you
Sometimes, to pacify the ardor of a corporate maniac, a frank conversation is enough. During the conversation, of course, intimate, warn the manager that you are going to go to court if he does not stop exceeding his official powers.
Conversation should be done in a calm, confident tone. And it will not be superfluous to record the dialogue on a dictaphone, the recording will come in handy if they threaten you with dismissal or if the case comes to trial.
You should only go to court as a last resort, because litigation is costly and rather protracted.
When Conversation Doesn't Help Against Harassment
Conversations and persuasions don't always work. However, in the current situation, you can choose another way of solving the problem - an attack. After all, it is believed that it is the attack that is the most effective defense.
The next time your boss is overly attentive, ask him for a bonus for tolerance. The boss wants to look in the neckline to the secretary - let her raise her wages.
To some, this option will seem unacceptable, but in vain. After such an attack, the lion's share of maniac leaders stop their harassment. The psychotype of such individuals does not accept any resistance, and if there is such, the object of harassment is changed to a more meek and weak one.
When a leader harasses everyone at once
The object of harassment of a maniac manager can be either one employee or the entire team. Moreover, in the case of a group of victims of harassment, it becomes much easier to solve the problem.
Before making a general decision on how to deal with harassment, be sure to discuss it with all the victims of the perverted boss.
In the case of a group of victims of the specific inclinations of the leader, the first thing to do is to bring the perpetrator of the harassment to a conversation. It's good when words help solve a problem right away, otherwise you have to go to court.
An application to the court must be drawn up on behalf of all victims. The form of writing can be found in the nearest law enforcement office. If you win in court, and most often cases are decided in favor of victims of harassment, you and your colleagues will receive monetary compensation and, possibly, get rid of the annoying leader.
In any case, you do not need to endure the supervisor's excessive attention to your person. In extreme cases, quit, because honor is more expensive than even the most prestigious and highly paid job.
