Life situations are different. Sometimes personal reasons do not allow you to go to work, and when you have to work on an official day off, and then you want to restore justice and take an extra day for a walk. In any case, you need to ask your superiors for time off.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to get a day off, then after you have worked the extra time, write a statement asking you to grant you the day off. Your management will be required to draw up a time off order. Indicate on this application for which overworked hours (days) you want to get the day off and on what day you want the day off. Please note that this day will not be paid from above.
Step 2
If you need a day off for any time (for a day or for several) due to some personal circumstances, then write an application for granting you this time off, also indicating the days on which you want to receive additional days of rest. These days will also not be paid to you.
Step 3
Based on such a statement, the employer is obliged to grant you time off in the following cases:
1. The birth of a child
2. Registration of marriage
3. Death of close relatives
Step 4
The duration of the provided time off in accordance with labor law is no more than five days. If your situation goes beyond what is described, then the decision to provide time off is entirely up to your employer.
Step 5
To get paid time off, you can ask for it against your paid vacation time, and only your employer decides whether to give you it or not. One of the parts of such a "broken" vacation should be more than fourteen days. Write an application for the provision of paid vacation or an application for the postponement of vacation, or the provision of part of the paid vacation for the hours worked.
Write the application by hand and describe in detail your request, indicate the exact dates on which you want to get vacation.
Step 6
If you have an agreement with your boss that you will be paid for the day for which you are taking the day off, still write a statement asking for the time off so that there is no confusion later.
Step 7
Remember that regardless of your situation, you can get official time off only with the consent of your superiors. Do not be arbitrary, but coordinate with your management all your days off and weekends to avoid controversial situations, even if you are great friends.
