There is only one way to legally register at the place of stay in Moscow - to find an owner who is willing to provide you with living quarters and draw up documents through the Federal Migration Service. You should not contact various companies that offer registration services without a visit to the FMS: you will give your money for a fake document, the use of which is a criminal offense.
It is necessary

- - an application for the provision of residential premises or a lease (sublease) agreement;
- - application for registration at the place of residence.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest option is to visit the district department of the FMS together with the landlord so that he signs the application for the provision of housing to you or an agreement in the presence of FMS employees.
In other cases, the law does not require notarization, but FMS employees may try to refuse under the pretext that it is not clear whose signature is under the contract.
Although there is a mechanism to avoid deception: the owner must be notified that a temporary resident was registered at his address and he has the right to cancel the registration if this news came as a surprise to him.
Step 2
An application for registration at the place of stay can be obtained from the FMS department, downloaded for a sample of its filling. The portal also has the option of generating and submitting this document online.
Step 3
Visit the FMS department with all the necessary documents. If everything is in order with them, within three days you will be given a certificate of registration at the place of stay, with which you can walk around the capital without fear of checking documents, until the expiration of your registration.
