A foreign passport is a document proving the identity of a citizen of the Russian Federation outside its borders. Without it, it is simply impossible to enter most countries. Drawing up such a document is a laborious process, but if you know the details, it will be much easier.
Necessary
- - passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, its copy;
- - 4 photographs (black and white, matte, in an oval 35X45 mm);
- - old passport (if previously issued);
- - a copy of the work book (certified at work);
- - a copy of the military ID or a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office of Form 32 (for men of military age);
- - a copy of the pension certificate (for pensioners);
- - receipt of payment of state duty.
Instructions
Step 1
Collect the required documents. This is a Russian passport, work book, pension certificate or military ID. Then photocopy them. Remember that only men of draft age need a military ID or form 32 certificate, and pensioners need a pension certificate. If you have a passport that expires, you must also take it with you when you issue a new one.
Step 2
Certify a copy of the work book at work, pay the state duty at any bank. Attach the receipt of payment to the documents.
Step 3
Take photos. You will need four photos, which should be black and white, oval, printed on matte paper. Photo size - 35x45 mm. If you forget these conditions, just tell the photographer that you are filming for a passport. He knows exactly all the requirements.
Step 4
Fill out two applications for a passport. This is done by the Office of the Federal Migration Service, for the address of the district office, you can contact the passport office according to your registration. Carefully fill in each field of the application form, any mistake or omission will lead to the return of your application for renewal.
Step 5
Check the information entered in the questionnaire with the data of the passport, work book. Labor activity should be covered in the last ten years. For students, the requirements change somewhat - you simply certify a certificate from the place of study and attach it to the rest of the documents.
Step 6
Go to the FMS with questionnaires and documents early in the morning, by the very beginning of work (or better, an hour before opening). Long lines of people wishing to receive an exit document are marked in the spring-summer period, in which people spend the whole day.
Step 7
If the registration of questionnaires, documents went without problems, they will accept an application and tell you the approximate day of issue of the passport. You will have to wait up to thirty days. You can get it there by presenting a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
