Step 1

The first thing you have to do is write a downsizing order. Issue it two months before the exclusion of the staff unit. Before that, think carefully and make a list of the positions to be cut. If there are many of them, then it is advisable to issue a new staffing table.

Step 2

Indicate in the order to reduce the position of the reason for these actions, and remember that the more of them, the better. After that, write down the abbreviation date. Also list the employees who are on this post.

Step 3

After that, you must notify the employee of the termination of the employment contract in writing. Please note that this must also be done two months before the reduction. Fill in the notification in the name of the employee, indicate the reasons that led to this procedure. In the letter, refer to the Labor Code, namely to Article 180. Also indicate the number and date of the employment contract, which is subsequently subject to termination.

Step 4

Remember that it is not necessary to fire an employee when downsizing, you can transfer him to another position. Please also indicate this in the notification. The employee must at the end of the letter put a mark on familiarization, that is, a signature and the date of delivery of the notification.

Step 5

Then you must notify the employment service of the downsizing, issue this in the form of a notice of free form. It is better to make two copies of the letter, one of which will be marked and handed over to you, and the other will be kept. This must also be done two months before the post is expelled from the state.

Step 6

After two months have passed, draw up a dismissal order (form No. T-8). In the line "Grounds for termination of the employment contract" indicate "job reduction". Next, enter the information in the employee's work book, the wording of the entry should be as follows: "Fired at the initiative of the employer due to staff reduction, paragraph 2 of part one of Article 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation."
