Step 1

The procedure for granting leave to an employee is clearly spelled out in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Every employee who has worked at the enterprise for 6 months is entitled to vacation. It is provided for the entire vacation year, the calculation of which begins from the date of employment. After Russia joined the international Convention No. 132 "On paid holidays" in 2010, an uninterrupted part of the vacation (at least 2 weeks) must be granted before the end of the vacation year. Example: the employee's vacation year from 2010-07-05 to 2011-07-04. The obligatory 2 weeks of vacation will have to be provided to the employee until 04.07.2011. The remaining unused days - within one and a half years after the vacation year, i.e. until 04.01.2013

Step 2

Annually, until December 15 of the current year, the company draws up a vacation schedule for the next calendar year. The scheduling should take into account the interests of both parties.

One of the conditions is the uniformity of the provision of vacations throughout the year. The full right of choice remains only with those employees who have benefits (for example, underage workers, a husband while his wife is on maternity leave, soldiers - internationalists, etc.) is mandatory for both the employer and the employee.

Step 3

2 weeks before the start of the planned vacation, you must be given a written notice (this is provided that the exact date is determined in the schedule - day / month / year). If the schedule only lists the month and year, you will be prompted to write your own statement. After the application (or notification) is signed, the HR specialist will prepare a vacation order and a calculation note. On the basis of these documents signed by the head, you will be credited with vacation pay. It must be paid 3 days before the start of the vacation. In the event that the money is not paid for some reason, you have the right to refuse the vacation.

Step 4

Naturally, the vacation schedule is not a dogma. Situations arise when the vacation needs to be rescheduled. In this case, a statement is written with a request to change the period for granting you the next vacation with an indication of the reason. If the reason is recognized as valid and the application is signed, changes will be made to the vacation schedule.
