Finding a professional is far from easy, but it is much more difficult to make work in your company seem attractive enough to such a specialist.
Any employer sooner or later faces the problem of hiring qualified personnel. Indeed, it does not matter at all whether it is a state structure or a commercial company - professionals are needed everywhere. But where to look for them and how to involve them in work in your organization?
Where to look?
The first thing that comes to mind when answering this question is sites dedicated to finding work and employees. There are a lot of them, but three of them are especially famous. These are www.job.ru, www.superjob.ru and, of course, www.headhunter.ru. The latter is translated from English as "bounty hunter". This name is not accidental, because in this virtual labor exchange they place their stake on highly qualified specialists.
Here you will be given a choice: you can start an independent search for people, studying their resume, or create a vacancy with the obligatory indication of working conditions and requirements for applicants. In this case, potential employees themselves will contact you.
Another solution to this difficult task may be contacting a recruiting agency. There are advantages and disadvantages here. The pluses include significant savings in your time when selecting candidates for the position. The agency's specialists will search and select candidates not only at the level of resume analysis, but also through aptitude testing and an initial interview. All you have to do is conduct a final interview with the selected applicants.
However, a significant disadvantage of such agencies is the high cost of their services. If in the first case, the search for personnel will not cost you a penny, then in the second, upon approval of the candidacy, you will need to give the agency an amount equal to 30-100% of the monthly salary of a specialist.
"Gingerbread" for professionals
Obviously, the more competent and effective a specialist is, the more organizations want to see him among their employees. How can you make sure that your company becomes desirable for a professional? To do this, you need to put yourself in his place.
So what does a specialist need? First of all, stability. If the company is unable to guarantee regular salary payments, everything else will make no sense. Then comes the income level. Good specialists are expensive, so you must be prepared for high enough requirements of job seekers in this matter and must be able to meet these requirements.
In addition to the stability and level of salaries, professionals are interested in the image and reputation of the company. Of course, some Bosch representative office in Russia will have a much better chance of getting a valuable top manager into its ranks than an obscure balloon company somewhere in the Lipetsk region. It should also be borne in mind that any professional is interested in career opportunities.
However, this is not the final point in choosing a particular organization. In the eyes of a professional, the climate within the company is very important. Here, not only the relationship between employees matters, but also the corporate culture, the presence or absence of a dress code, as well as the conditions in which the specialist has to work.
Only after carefully studying the wishes of the professional you need and guaranteeing him their implementation, you can start poaching him. However, the situation may develop in such a way that the implementation of all the requirements of highly qualified specialists will be too costly. It is worth thinking carefully whether the game is worth the candle. Maybe it would be much better to do the nurturing of a professional in the ranks of those who are already your employees?
