Improper diet during the working day can affect your health over time. If there is a good corporate cafeteria nearby, the problem can be solved very easily. However, most jobs are located in such a way that you have to look for other ways out.

Food to go

Bringing food from home is troublesome. What you will eat during the working day should be prepared in advance, put in containers, and then take care that the food does not go bad. A refrigerator at work or a thermal bag can help out. Not everyone will agree to such methods, since it actually takes a lot of time and effort. In addition, not all enterprises have places where you can eat. If you eat right at your desk, the smell of your food is likely to fill the room and can irritate colleagues.

Despite all the difficulties, it is this method of nutrition that can be classified as one of the healthiest and cheapest. First of all, you will be able to fully control the quality of the food you eat. If you follow the principles of a healthy diet, this method will allow you to eat only high-quality foods at the right frequency (after 3-4 hours). You will be able not to overeat, eat fractionally and in small portions, and therefore insure yourself against many diseases from diabetes to gastritis.

Try to bring food that can be eaten cold as well (for example, salad with vegetables and chicken breast, sandwiches made from whole grain bread, tortillas with toppings). In addition to the main meal, take a snack: fruits, nuts, yoghurts.

Collective orders

If you don't have a canteen nearby at work, you can easily arrange the delivery of ready-made food to you. The easiest but expensive option is to eat from restaurants. There are usually a lot of offers around: for every taste and budget. If you team up with your colleagues, you can try different dishes every day and receive significant discounts on the volume of orders. As a rule, during the day, many catering establishments offer all kinds of set meals and business lunches at discounted prices.

If ordering from restaurants is expensive for you, or the quality of such food does not suit the team, find a person who delivers hot meals to offices on a private basis. It is better if it is a proven home chef. Usually you will be able to agree on the menu several days in advance. The choice of dishes from "private traders", of course, is not as large as in restaurants. However, you do get delicious homemade food at reasonable prices.

Often, the situation develops in such a way that combined orders may not be suitable for some of the team members, or you will not be able to agree with colleagues about this form of catering at all. In this case, stop at the minimum: buy a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a kettle for your office. Collect money from time to time for water, coffee, tea, sugar, since some people generally only settle for drinks during the working day. Buy the rest of the food either individually, or organize in groups of 2-3 people.
