Snacks are an important part of the nutrition of every person working in the office. Even if you manage to have a good breakfast, and there is a good dining room nearby, you cannot do without snacks. And if you leave for work very early, and the lump does not go down your throat, and after work you go to workout, or just stay up late - you should take care of snacks in advance. After all, if you eat buns, sweets and sandwiches, both the figure and the state of health will make themselves felt - and not at all as we would like.

So what are the health benefits of eating at work?

Fresh fruits. They are especially useful for an afternoon snack when activity drops and the brain needs sugar. Bananas or apples can be taken whole from home, and berries can be put in a container and eaten with a spoon. A very good option for summer is pitted melon or watermelon pieces brought in a container.

Vegetables. An excellent light snack in the morning is fresh vegetables. It's no secret that a business lunch rarely contains enough vegetables. And if you add breakfast to such a dinner, which consists of a cup of coffee with a croissant, and a dinner of pasta with sauce, there are very few vegetables in such a diet. Snacking on fresh vegetables will help make the menu more balanced. For a snack in the office, you can take hard vegetables - carrots, celery, lettuce, bell pepper rings.

Porridge. Oatmeal or buckwheat cereal will give you a feeling of fullness and are very healthy. Pour boiling water over the flakes, add raisins or dates - and a healthy snack is ready. However, in stores you can find other flakes - from a mixture of cereals, peas or barley.

Cottage cheese or kefir. Fermented milk products are a tasty and healthy snack. And to make it even tastier or healthier, add some dried fruits or a couple of nuts to them.

Sandwiches. Of course, this is not the healthiest food, but the sandwich can also be made healthier. Take a whole grain bread, add chicken breast or fish fillets, lettuce leaves to it - and a delicious snack is ready. An excellent addition to this sandwich is a fresh cucumber.

Whatever you grab for a snack, be sure to set aside a few minutes for it to eat in a relaxed environment. Then it will bring much more benefit and will be tastier.
