For example, the price of services has changed, it became necessary to increase the terms of work on the project, changes in legislation have come into force, which such documents must comply with. All these changes can be made to the current agreement by registering them in a supplementary agreement.

Step 1

It is necessary to start work on an additional agreement by discussing all the necessary changes with the other party with whom the agreement was concluded. When a verbal agreement is reached, you can start writing the document.

Step 2

First, give it a title and number. For example: “Additional agreement No. 1 to the contract (full name, for example, the contract for the provision of services for a fee) No. (the number of the previously concluded contract) from (date of the contract).” In the first line on the left, indicate the locality where the agreement is concluded (usually the one where the legal address of the party acting in the role of the customer is located), and at the very end of it on the right is the date of its signing.

Step 3

In the introductory part, the official names of the parties, the names of their representatives and the documents on the basis of which they act are given in the same order as in the contract. So you can safely copy this part from his text. Only instead of the words "this Agreement" are written "this Supplementary Agreement".

Step 4

The next part of the document is assigned the number 1 and titled "SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT". In it, point by point (the order of their numbering: 1.1., 1.2., Etc.) set out in a new edition all the essential provisions of the agreement that need to be changed. In this case, refer to the clauses of the agreement, which spell out the provisions that require changes.

For example: “the term of work on the Work, provided for in clause 1.2. Author's order agreement No. (number of the agreement) from (date of conclusion of the agreement) is extended until (date of the new deadline for work)."

When all the changes are outlined, devote the next chapter to the final clauses. Write in them in separate clauses that the agreement is an integral part of the previously concluded agreement and is drawn up in two copies, one for each party, having equal legal force.

The next chapters are devoted to the addresses and details of the parties and their signatures. They can be copied from the text of the agreement.

Send the finished agreement by e-mail for approval to the second party. Discuss her proposed changes, if any. When the text has a version that suits both parties, you can print and sign the document, certify it with a seal, if you have one.

There are two ways to exchange signed copies of the agreement. The first is a personal meeting with a representative of the other side on its territory, yours or "neutral". Second - each party prints and signs its own copy of the document and sends it by mail or sends it by courier to the other. Upon receipt of a copy from the other party, he signs it and keeps it. It is also possible that both copies are printed, signed and sent by one party. And the second, having received them, signs both and keeps one for himself, the second sends back to the partner.
