Today, a salesperson is one of the most demanded professions in the labor market. If you have chosen trading as your field of activity and want to get a job as a seller, follow some simple tips to avoid a long search.
Instructions
Step 1
View job postings in print and job search sites. Please note that the websites of large trading companies usually have a page "Vacancies" or "Those who want to get a job." It may contain information that may be useful to you.
Step 2
Post your resume on major job search sites and update it regularly. Just do not forget to remove personal information from the Internet when the job is found, otherwise you may be overwhelmed by phone calls for a long time.
Step 3
Think about which sales area you would like to work in. If you intend to get a job as a seller in a supermarket, grocery store, cosmetics and perfumery departments, you will definitely need a sanitary book. Prepare it in advance. To do this, you need to undergo a medical examination at a polyclinic and pass the necessary tests.
Step 4
You can also search for a seller's job through the Employment Center. They will really help you find a suitable job, offer you several options to choose from, and even send you to refresher courses. The disadvantage of this method is that, as a rule, high-paying options are rarely found in the job bank of the Job Center.
Step 5
If you are interested in working as a sales assistant in a particular store, ask if they are recruiting employees. Even if there are no vacancies at the moment, leave your resume. In this profession, there is a fairly high turnover of personnel (not everyone can withstand the frantic rhythm of work and rather high requirements). Show your interest and, perhaps, you will be contacted as soon as a vacancy appears.
Step 6
Finally, just walk around the shops and malls near your home, or wherever you would like to work. Very often, advertisements "Wanted a seller" are placed right at the entrance to the point of sale.
