Today the car has ceased to be a luxury item. Along with the growth of opportunities, the number of drivers has increased, some of whom violate the rules of the road. That is why you can see a traffic police officer on the roads at any time of the day or night. If you are stopped, and you strongly disagree with the alleged violations, you must fill out the protocol correctly.
Instructions
Step 1
First, do not get into the traffic police car to fill out the protocol. Russian legislation does not say anything about this, so calmly wait for the employee in your car.
Step 2
Secondly, do not give any contact information other than name and place of residence. Give the rest of the information only to the investigator under the interrogation protocol. You have every right to such an answer.
Step 3
Third, try to take some pictures of the location where the "violation" occurred. You may not need this, but it's worth it to play it safe.
Step 4
After the protocol has been handed over to you to fill out, check if the inspector will make any entries in this document. If the answer is yes, return the paper and wait for him to finish writing. In the event that in the column "witnesses" the inspector did not mark a single person, put a huge Z, which will not allow you to enter inaccurate information later. If the names of the witnesses have been listed, you have every right to get to know them. It is worth noting that the inspector's partner can act as a witness. In this case, be sure to ask for an official ID.
Step 5
In the column "explanation of the person …" you will be asked to briefly state your opinion on this matter. In a few words, explain that you have not violated anything, do not agree with the accusations, etc. Leave the column “attached to the protocol” empty. Proceed to the next item “I have read the protocol”. In the event that the inspector did not have time or simply forgot to read out the rights to you (article 25.1 of the Administrative Code), be sure to write about it. In the event that you are in another city other than your place of residence, fill in the column “please send the protocol”.
Step 6
After you have completed the protocol in this manner, separate a copy of this document and save. Most likely, you will have to endure the screams of the inspector who will receive the original. Do not forget to write a complaint about the unscrupulous attitude of the traffic police to their service.
