Instructions
Step 1
When hiring a driver, conclude an employment contract in which you specify in detail the conditions and wages. According to labor law, a driver's working week cannot be more than 40 hours a week.
Step 2
In the internal regulations of the company, you should have a clause about paying drivers for additional costs incurred on the way. Additional expenses include all expenses related to the trip, housing, daily allowance, field or other allowances.
Step 3
In both the employment contract and the regulations of the enterprise, indicate all allowances as a percentage of the tariff rate. In doing so, be guided by the Federal Industry Agreement. For trips at night from 10 pm to 6 pm, charge an additional 40%, for repairs, labor intensity and special conditions - 24%. For drivers of the first class, in addition to all the specified payments, add 25%, for the second class - 10%.
Step 4
If the driver has an hourly overtime in excess of 40 hours, pay double the rate plus all allowances for night work, class and intensity.
Step 5
Calculate wages based on the summed ratio of working hours in the billing period. Just like all other employees, you can engage drivers in overtime work, on weekends, and holidays only with their written consent, if there are no special and emergency situations at the enterprise or in the country. In addition to the specified allowances and expenses related to the traveling nature of work, the calculation of salaries for drivers is no different from the calculation of salaries for other employees.
Step 6
You can make the calculation on a calculator, which is used very rarely, or enter all the data into the 1C program and get the initial result. According to labor law, you are obliged to pay for work at least twice a month at regular intervals.
