It is believed that no employer will hire a pregnant woman. But raising a baby is not a cheap pleasure at all. And if you need money, then you need work. Where to go to get help? To the labor exchange.
It is necessary
- - The passport;
- - work book (or a replacement document confirming professional qualifications);
- - diploma of graduation or school certificate;
- - certificate from the last job on the amount of the average monthly earnings for the last 3 months;
- - certificate of pension insurance;
- - INN.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have been fired, contact your local employment service within 14 days of your firing. If you have not worked before, then you have the right to join the labor exchange at any time before the gestational age reaches 30 weeks. Take the required documents with you. They will register you on the day of contact.
Step 2
Expect that within 10 days from the date of registration you will be offered 2 options for work, corresponding to your education, experience and wishes. They may also offer to take part in community service. Ask the employee of the employment service whether it is possible to improve qualifications or undergo training in any specialty. The labor exchange provides for the possibility of free training for applicants. If your goal is not to find a job while you are pregnant, this is a very good scenario.
Step 3
Remember that if you have not found a suitable job within 10 days, then after this period the employment service registers you as unemployed. Accordingly, expect to receive unemployment benefits. Its size is: - 75% of the average monthly earnings for 3 months at the last job in the first 3 months of the unemployment period; - 60% - the next 4 months; - 45% - the remaining months of the period. At the same time, the amount of the paid benefit cannot be higher than the maximum amount established by the government of the Russian Federation, and lower than the minimum amount. If you were sent to courses, then the allowance will not be paid, in which case a scholarship is provided.
Step 4
Do not assume that by registering, you will be able to receive benefits and not worry about anything. After all, if you refuse the offered vacancies twice, you will be removed from the register. You can get unemployed status again only after a month. Therefore, consider whether it is worth informing the inspector at the labor exchange and the potential employer about your “interesting” situation. Perhaps an employee of the employment service will meet you halfway, and you will "sit out" on the stock exchange until the decree, but there is also a chance to find a job.
Step 5
When the gestational age reaches 30 weeks, provide the appropriate certificate from the antenatal clinic to the labor exchange inspector and go on maternity leave. Be aware that you will not receive unemployment benefits during maternity leave. Contact Social Security for benefits after the birth of your baby.
