It is necessary

  • - postal or email address of the employer;
  • - a computer with a printer;
  • - the Internet.

Instructions

Step 1

Before the main text, in the upper left corner of the sheet, write a "header" in which you should indicate where or to whom you are sending the letter, as well as your personal and contact information. If you are composing a letter in electronic form, you should not fill out the "header": state the relevant information after the signature at the end of the letter.

Step 2

Start the body text with a polite greeting. If you know the name and patronymic of the head of the organization in which you want to get a job, write: "Hello, dear (patronymic name)!". If you do not have such information, limit yourself to a greeting without a call.

Step 3

Next, indicate your desire to fill the relevant vacant position. Avoid writing from the position of a supplicant. On the contrary, make it clear that your knowledge and skills can benefit the employer. For example: "As an experienced sales manager, I hope to realize my business potential for the benefit of your company." Please indicate that a detailed summary is attached.

Step 4

Ask for a date and time for your job interview.

Step 5

Complete the letter with your signature. If the address already contains the word "respected", there is no need to write "with respect" here. And on the contrary, if you omit this word in your greeting, then by signing, assure the addressee of your respect. This is required by the norms of politeness.

Step 6

Write a detailed resume, including your personal and contact information, education, work experience, specialization, business qualities and skills. For clarity, break the specified information into separate paragraphs. If you have a presentable appearance and it matters for the proposed job, add your photo. Attach your resume to your job application letter. In electronic format, use the file attachment feature.
