Before you buy a hunting weapon, you need to obtain a license to purchase it, contact the store with it. After purchasing the selected barrel, the purchase license will be replaced with a permit.
Instructions
Step 1
Collect medical records. Make an appointment with a therapist at your local health center. Get Medical Certificate 046-1. Visit the neuropsychiatric dispensary at your place of residence and get a certificate stating that you are not registered with it. Also fill out a certificate stating that you are not registered in the drug treatment clinic.
Step 2
Take 2 x 3 black and white photos on matte paper in 3 x 4 cm format. Take a copy from your passport. Pay the license fee.
Step 3
Visit the Licensing and Permitting Department of the ATC at your place of residence. Provide the employee of the department with a passport and its copy, 3 certificates, 2 photographs. Complete an application for a weapon permit. Within 10 days, the Licensing and Permitting Department, on the basis of the documents provided, will make a decision to issue a permit or to refuse it.
Step 4
Pass an examination on knowledge of the rules of storage, carrying and use of weapons. To do this, read the Federal Law on Weapons No. 150-FZ, Article 37 "Necessary Self-Defense" of the Criminal Code, Resolution No. 814 of 21.07.1998 on measures to regulate the circulation of civilian and service weapons and cartridges for them.
Step 5
Get a license to purchase smoothbore or airguns. The term for issuing a license is 30 days, however, sometimes it stretches for a longer period. Remember that the license covers the purchase of one hunting rifle and is valid for six months. If, after this period, the weapon was not purchased, you must surrender the license.
Step 6
Take the stub of the license with the mark of the shop for the purchase of weapons to the Licensing and Permitting Department of the ATC. You must do this within two weeks from the date of purchase. The department will issue you a weapons permit card.
Step 7
Get a safe or special metal cabinet. A police officer will visit you and check the storage conditions for the weapons.
