Hunting is an occupation worthy of real men. However, one desire to go out with a gun for a duck or a wild boar is not enough. To hunt legally, you must obtain permission from the relevant government agencies - the Unified Hunting Ticket.

Step 1
A single hunting ticket is a document that gives the right to hunt. It is issued at the place of permanent residence to Russian citizens who have reached the age of majority. The duration of the Unified Hunting Ticket is 5 years. In addition, it is necessary to register the ticket annually with the state authorities that issued it by the end of March. Without such a mark, it is considered invalid.
Step 2
Citizens of the Russian Federation wishing to purchase a hunting ticket must apply to the Department for the Protection and Rational Use of Hunting Resources with a corresponding application. When submitting an application, you must present a Russian passport. To issue a hunting ticket to foreign citizens, an application is required from the party organizing the hunt, a copy of the contract or invitation, and a permit to import weapons into Russia issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Step 3
After five years, the hunting ticket must be replaced. The reason for this is an application for replacement, which must be submitted one month before the expiration of its validity. After submitting the application, a new hunting ticket is issued within the next month.
Step 4
Registration of a hunting ticket is made in special books. Each entry in it is sealed with the signature of the local department of the Okhot Department and sealed. With regard to hunting tickets for foreign hunters, an application from the inviting party must be submitted 10 days before their arrival. The ticket is issued within ten days.
Step 5
If the hunter has changed his place of residence, he must be deregistered and registered there within two weeks. Upon obtaining a license for a weapon, holders of a hunting ticket are exempted from taking an exam on knowledge of safety rules when handling weapons. They are also given the opportunity to obtain a license to use a rifled weapon within five years after purchasing a smoothbore weapon.
