This is important both for the internal work of a construction organization and for the successful passage of inspections by regulatory authorities. One of the important papers that you need to know how to prepare is an estimate for design and survey work (R&D).

Step 1
Find and study guidelines for making these estimates. In particular, the "Methodology for determining the cost of products for construction" issued by the State Committee for Construction is used to draw up estimates for construction. Other official guidelines may apply for repairs and refurbishment. Such documents can be found, for example, on the Internet at specialized sites dedicated to construction and construction products.
Step 2
Pick up price guides for design and survey work. If construction is carried out in Moscow, use Moscow, and if in other cities - federal reference books. Special price change indices are also published monthly for them. You can get the reference books and indexes themselves by downloading them from special Internet resources.
Step 3
Make the very estimate of the IDP. To do this, determine what materials and activities of employees are used in the design and survey work at your facility. Then find their average cost in the relevant reference books. The cost needs to be adjusted in accordance with the coefficients of the current month. First, the estimated cost of each type of work and materials is calculated separately, and then a grand total is summed up, meaning the entire potential cost of design and survey activities during the construction of the facility.
Step 4
Indicate the total cost of the R&D estimate in a special summary estimate report, which takes into account the calculations of the cost of construction at all stages and for all types of costs. The data on this estimate are taken into account in the section "Design and survey work".
