Step 1

If a copy of the decision is not received by the person involved in the case personally or through a representative, the courts may send it by mail. Article 214 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation provides that copies of the decision of a court of general jurisdiction are sent by mail within 5 days from the date of the final decision by the court to persons who participate in the case, but are not present at the hearing.

According to the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation (APC RF), the decision of the arbitration court is considered adopted when it is made in full. Article 177 of the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation establishes that the arbitration court to all persons participating in the case, within 5 days from the date of the decision, shall deliver a copy of the decision against receipt, or send copies of the court decision by mail by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
