If a guest comes to you from a CIS country, and you want to settle him in your apartment, then you will need to provide him with official registration. This is necessary so that there are no questions when leaving the country and you do not have to pay a large fine. How is such a document drawn up?

Instructions

Step 1

When crossing the border, a visitor from the CIS must fill out a migration card, in which he must indicate the purpose of arrival, in this case - write that he is going to visit - and write the address where he is going to live.

Step 2

No later than three days (according to the stamp on the migration card), you must go to the federal migration service or the passport office in the house administration and fill out a notification of the arrival of a foreign citizen. Attach to this notification a copy of the guest's migration card, a copy of your and his passport, as well as their originals. Remember that the registration in your passport must exactly match the address of residence indicated in the immigration document of the visitor. In addition, when registering, the number of meters of living space is taken into account, so it may not be possible to register several foreign citizens in one apartment.

Step 3

Your guest will be given a tear-off part of the form, and he must carry it with him throughout his stay in Russia. When preparing documents, you will have to pay a state fee.

Step 4

When the guest leaves, make a copy of his part of the notice and after the visitor's departure, take it to the FMS so that the employees make a note that the foreign citizen has been removed from temporary registration. As a rule, the stay of a CIS resident in Russia can last no longer than three months. You must take a copy to the migration service no later than two days from the date of departure of the person.

Step 5

All documents do not need to be submitted directly to government agencies, but sent by mail. However, remember that at the post office there are difficulties in obtaining and filling out forms, in addition, you will have to pay at least two hundred rubles for using postal services. If there is an opportunity, it is better to do all such things personally - it is both safer and cheaper.
