Step 1

Management in any company performs a number of functions. Previously, the list consisted of five functions, today it has been expanded to seven. These include the planning and organization of the enterprise, regulation and coordination, as well as motivation, leadership and control. All management functions should be considered together.

Step 2

In any organization, three levels of management can be distinguished: the lowest level, the middle and the highest. They are present in all activities. Each level has its own scope of tasks.

Step 3

The planning function consists in the reasonable determination of the directions of production development. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the existing demand in the market.

Step 4

Planning solves the following tasks. First, it ensures the purposeful development of the organization and its divisions. Secondly, with the help of planning, the state of the object is outlined, which is desirable in the future. By planning, you can curb negative development trends and stimulate favorable ones. Thirdly, planning allows you to effectively coordinate the activities of all structural divisions, as well as employees of the organization.

Step 5

The next function of management is organizational. Its main task is to ensure the functioning of the organization in accordance with the plan to achieve the desired goal.

Step 6

The function of the organization is realized through the definition of the structure of the enterprise, its administrative and operational management. It also includes the distribution of functions between departments and the establishment of responsibility between employees of the management apparatus. It is worth adding and comparing the actual results with the planned ones, adjusting the results.

Step 7

The regulation function is to eliminate deviations from the specified operating mode. The main task of regulation is to bring the object to the required state. The regulatory function acts as a tool that guides the course of production within the strict framework provided in advance by the plan.

Step 8

Coordination is an activity that ensures the consistency of the work of various divisions of the enterprise in the implementation of planned tasks.

Step 9

Coordination involves the timely adoption of the necessary measures to eliminate bottlenecks, for example, arising from a mismatch in the timing of the delivery of materials. It is precisely coordination that is designed to ensure a uniform course of production even when some difficulties arise.

Step 10

The third function of management is control. It is implemented as a process that guides the organization. This keeps the company on track to achieve its goals. At the same time, information about the current results of the organization's work is studied. If in the process deviations from the established indicators are detected, measures are taken to eliminate such deviations.

Step 11

Another function of management is motivation. It involves actions that are aimed at encouraging people working in the organization to perform effectively. All this is carried out taking into account the previously planned goals of the organization.

Step 12

Leadership is the last function of management. It is an activity aimed at ensuring the normal course of production and management processes. If we talk about leadership as a management function, then the point is the influence of the leader on other people.

Step 13

There are two forms of influence that encourage performers to actively cooperate. This is the belief and participation of employees in management. It is recognized that the influence of the leader is of great importance in the leadership process.

Step 14

Note that all of the above management functions are closely interrelated, one complements the other. The success of an enterprise directly depends on how clearly the management process is organized. An experienced manager organizes all processes in such a way as to guarantee the stable operation of the enterprise. This allows the organization to achieve its goals.
