If you think that one written appeal to the prosecutor's office is not enough for the objective conduct of the case, you can try to get an appointment with the prosecutor in person. There are rules for receiving citizens.
Instructions
Step 1
Write a statement in which you reflect the essence of your case and state the need for a personal meeting with the prosecutor. Take this document to the reception room of the city prosecutor's office and they will decide which of the deputy prosecutors should deal with your issue. If the case is particularly difficult, request a personal visit to the chief prosecutor and find out when it can be done.
Step 2
In some cities there is a special position of the deputy prosecutor for work with citizens' appeals. If there is one, he must take it every day, except weekends, during office hours. If this is not the case, each of the deputies has a personal appointment hours on a specific day of the week. Having found out exactly who you need, make an appointment and come on the appointed day. The head of the prosecutor's office is obliged to receive ordinary citizens at least once a week, and information about the time of his appointment should be posted in an accessible place for reading.
Step 3
Take your passport or other identity document with you and write a written appeal that should set out the essence of your claims. If you have already visited some officials, take their written answers with you in order to quickly explain to this official why you are contacting him. After talking with the prosecutor, your written appeal must be registered and a decision made on its consideration. If your question cannot be resolved in the prosecutor's office, you are obliged to explain where you need to go.
Step 4
If you are denied consideration of your issue, and you believe that the truth is on your side, you have the right to complain to higher authorities, namely to the Regional Prosecutor General's Office.
