Are you the proud owner of a dog and dream of more representatives of your favorite breed? Perhaps you should consider opening your own breeding nursery and breeding. With a small start-up capital and a great desire and patience, you can earn money doing what you love.
Instructions
Step 1
First, get at least one breeding bitch. The dog must be with a pedigree and a brand confirming its origin. To get the opportunity to breed, exhibit your pet at exhibitions, for admission to breeding, a judge's rating of at least "very good" is required. If the breed you have chosen belongs to a hunting or service dog, the dogs need diplomas confirming the working qualities of the dog and passing it a training course. Some breeds will also need hip dysplasia imaging.
Step 2
If you do not have a zootechnical, veterinary, medical or biological education, take special cynological courses. Such courses are recruited by the Russian Cynological Federation (RKF), and you can complete them remotely. Enrollment for courses is carried out throughout the year, the list of required documents can be found on the RKF website. At the end of the course, you will receive a special certificate as a Breed Judge or Performance Judge.
Step 3
Collect the necessary documents: copies of your dogs' pedigrees; diplomas with an exhibition grade, as well as diplomas confirming working qualities and passing training; copies of educational documents; a copy of your passport (you must be at least 21 years old). Fill out a special form (it can be found on the RKF website), come up with an original name for the cattery, pay for its registration and attach all the collected documents. RKF, in turn, will contact the international canine organization, and if the name of the kennel is really unique, it will register the kennel attachment, and from that moment you will become the official owner of the dog breed kennel. All puppies of your breeding will receive a unique attachment. And you will get the opportunity to independently fill out the puppy documents without contacting the local kennel club.
