Step 1

Read the contract that the store offers you to conclude. The agreement will really make your life easier in case of a disputable situation. Check the warranty and service information for your furniture. Remember that under the Consumer Protection Law, in the event of defects in the product, the buyer can replace the product with another with a recalculation of the cost. May insist on reducing the price, eliminating product defects free of charge, reimbursing expenses and, finally, returning the money. In this case, the return of the sofa and its transportation to the warehouse, according to the law, is carried out by the forces and means of the seller. Subject to the rules of operation, all these conditions are valid throughout the warranty period. If the warranty period is not specified in the contract in advance, the law says that all of the above conditions are valid for two years from the date of delivery of the sofa to the buyer.

If you have already paid for the sofa and found defects at home when it was handed over by the delivery service, do not sign the furniture acceptance document. Immediately notify the seller of your claims.

If flaws or defects were revealed only during operation, or the sofa did not fit in color, size or other parameters, then according to the adopted law, you have the right to demand that the sofa be replaced with a similar one, or demand a refund. Write a claim statement indicating the deficiencies, remember that the store employees must review it within 10 working days. Otherwise, you have the right to cancel the contract and demand a refund of the cost of the sofa.
