Overtime is considered overtime work performed by an employee on the instructions and initiative of the employer. Delays at work on their own initiative are not considered overworking, they are not paid in an increased amount, and additional days of rest are not allowed for such work.

Instructions
Step 1
You can only engage employees in overtime work for business needs. Notify in advance everyone who will work in excess of the government's norm, obtain written consent, issue a directive with a list of everyone who is involved in work in excess of the monthly norm.
Step 2
In accordance with the labor legislation, even due to industrial necessity, overtime work cannot be involved for more than 4 hours within two days. The total duration of work in excess of the monthly norm should not exceed 120 hours in one calendar year. If the employer violates the established norms, he can be brought to administrative responsibility on the basis of Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Step 3
According to article 152 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, pay for the first two hours of processing in one and a half amount, for the remaining hours, charge a double salary, an hourly wage rate or double the amount of output.
Step 4
Your collective bargaining agreement may specify other rules for remuneration for overworked hours, but they may not violate workers' rights or be below the standard established by labor laws.
Step 5
At the request of the employee, you can provide him with an additional day off. In this case, pay a single rate for all processing hours. Additional day off is not subject to payment.
Step 6
To pay for overtime for an employee receiving a salary, calculate the cost of one hour of work in the accounting period. To do this, divide the salary by the specified number of hours in the estimated month. Calculate the first two hours based on the coefficient 1, 5, pay for the next hours according to the coefficient 2, unless otherwise specified in the internal acts of the enterprise and the collective agreement.
Step 7
Employees working on the development, apply the specified ratios according to the number of products produced.
