Presentation defense should consist of two important parts - the presentation of the slides and their accompaniment with your presentation. Remember that the presenter should take the lead and the slides are only to support the speaker. Failure to follow these principles will lead to viewers not appreciating the protection of your presentation. So, in order to successfully cope with protecting your presentation, you must follow certain rules.

Step 1
Build your presentation on arguments, not slides. Even if your presentation is well-designed, that is, the visual elements combine well with the text, you still shouldn't defend your defense strictly according to the text of the presentation. You must accompany the presentation with your own arguments, theses and conclusions that do not contradict the content of the work. Never say "let's go to page 7", instead use: "This problem was resolved on page 7".
Step 2
Get ready to perform. It is important that your performance is rehearsed several times and also timed. You should not prepare on the last night, the audience will easily notice this, because not every person will be able to compensate for unpreparedness with sincerity and excellent improvisation.
Step 3
Do not forget that the audience is real people. During the time for which the presentation is designed, the presenter must make the audience believe him. If you can't please the audience, then all the time wasted.
Step 4
Even if you yourself are not sure what you are talking about, never show it to the audience while defending a presentation. There should be conviction in your voice about what you are doing.
Step 5
No one is protected from surprises. Carefully check the laptop, battery power, projector performance. It is best to come to the meeting in advance and prepare well.
