Downtime at the enterprise may occur due to the fault of the employer, employee, or for reasons beyond the control of either one or the other. Regardless of whose fault the downtime occurred, it must be formalized in accordance with labor laws. Downtime must be documented, draw up an order, make changes to the timesheet and, if the downtime occurred through no fault of the employee, pay for it.

Step 1

If there is a breakdown of equipment at the enterprise, in connection with which the employee cannot perform his labor function, then the employee must inform his immediate supervisor about the simple verbally or in writing. If the specialist did not notify his employer in time, then the employee may be fined, since the company will incur certain losses if the cause of the downtime is not eliminated in time.

Step 2

Record downtime on your timesheet. If the downtime occurred due to the employee's fault, put “VP”, through the fault of the employer - “RP”, for reasons beyond the control of either the employee or the employer - “NP”.

Step 3

The employer always seeks to relieve himself of responsibility, the downtime must be recorded and documented for its reason. For this, an order should be drawn up. In the head of the order, enter the name of the organization in accordance with the constituent documents or the last name, first name, patronymic of an individual in accordance with an identity document, if the organizational and legal form of the enterprise is an individual entrepreneur.

Step 4

Enter the name of the city where your company is located. Write the date of the order.

Step 5

Enter the name of the document in capital letters, assign a number to the order.

Step 6

Indicate the subject of the order, which in this case corresponds to the outage declaration. Write down the reason for the business downtime.

Step 7

Write down the start date and end date of the downtime. If the downtime is extended, a new order is issued. If the downtime lasts less than the specified period, an administrative document is also drawn up.

Step 8

In the administrative part of the document, enter the surnames, first names, patronymics of the employees for whom the downtime is announced, indicate the positions they hold in accordance with the staffing table.

Step 9

Workers must be present at the workplace even during downtime at the enterprise. If the order states that employees have the right not to come to work during downtime, then employees may not go to their workplace.

Step 10

The recall of employees is carried out by order of the head, drawn up along with administrative documents.

Step 11

The basis for the publication of this order is a memo of the head of the structural unit addressed to the director of the enterprise.

Step 12

The director of the organization has the right to sign the order, who indicates his position, surname, initials. Certify the document with the seal of the company.

Step 13

Familiarize yourself with the order of the workers listed in the document against signature.
