There should be one motivation: the level of wages. If a person says that he is ready to work at full strength and get good money for it, ask him about the reasons for leaving his previous job.

Evaluate the sincerity of his answers, the reference to an inaccessible work schedule and overstated sales plans should be alarming. In most companies, sales plans are realistic, but those who work late and on weekends are those who do not cope on time. If the reasons for looking for a new job are objective, test the candidate for quick thinking and the ability to get out of a difficult situation.

Many employers use the old trick - they ask to sell them pens, notebooks, calculators. Applicants know this. Offer them to sell something from your assortment - in addition to sales skills, you will also appreciate the degree of preparation for the interview, i.e. knowledge of the assortment of the candidate company. If a person on the go is able to calculate the benefits of an unfamiliar product, then it will suit you.

So the sales rep candidate is neat, smart, and sincere. At the end of the selection, you need to discuss the amount of remuneration and what components it consists of. If the candidate accepts your conditions, apply for a job.
