The quality of the document in Microsoft Word largely depends on the correct layout. And in order for the document to look structured, you often have to create breaks between the pages.
To set a page break in a Microsoft Word document, you need to put the cursor at the beginning of the line of the fragment of the document that should be moved to the next page. Next, open the Page Layout tab and select Break.
In the context menu that opens, select the "Page" mode to set a simple page break. In this mode, a piece of text will simply go to the next page.
If you need to change the orientation of the page on which the break is placed, for example, from portrait to landscape, then you must select the "Next page" mode. In this case, after setting the gap in the same "Page Layout" tab, you must activate the "Orientation" function and select the desired format.
To remove a page break, it is enough to place the cursor at the beginning of the separated text fragment and press the "Backspace" key on the keyboard to raise the text to the end of the previous section.
It is important to note that defining a page break in other ways (for example, spaces) is an extremely impractical method, since when changing the format, it does not ensure that the layout is preserved in its original form.
