Instructions
Step 1
On the main page of the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, click on the link "Fill in a payment order".
The form on the page that opens will ask you to enter the four-digit code of your tax office.
The first digit of the IFTS code is the code of the subject of the Federation (the same digit, which indicates the regional affiliation of the car on its license plates: 44 - Kostroma region, 76 - Yaroslavl, 77 - Moscow, etc.)
If you don't know your tax code, that's okay. Just leave this field blank and click on the "Next" button.
Step 2
Further, the system will offer you to select in the drop-down list your region, district, if applicable, a city or another settlement, a settlement within the city, if applicable (for example, Zelenograd in Moscow or the village of Fannik in Kostroma) and a street.
If a value is not applicable (for example, you live in a city and not in a rural area of an oblast), leave the field blank.
As you fill in all the proposed fields, click on the "Next" button.
Step 3
All the necessary codes (your IFTS, OKATO and OKATOM) you will see on the page that will open in front of you after the last click on the "Next" button.
OKATOM code is the code of the municipality. Recently, municipalities within the regional centers and Moscow and St. Petersburg have only the OKATOM code. In other settlements, including regional centers, both codes are present.
