In accordance with the law, in the event of a defect or defects in the goods, you can contact the seller with a demand for a refund of the money paid for this product. It must be stated in writing in the form of an application, the seller is obliged to satisfy it within 10 days from the date of submission.

Step 1
Please note that there is a list of items that you cannot return to the store. These include personal hygiene items, underwear, precious metal products, decoration materials and some other types of goods. If the purchased product is not included in this list, then begin to draw up a statement. There are no special requirements for its form and content, but there are some writing rules that should be followed.
Step 2
In the address part of the application, indicate the name of the selling company, its address. Write who the application is from: your last name, first name and patronymic, residential address, passport details and contact numbers.
Step 3
In the introduction, indicate where, when and for what amount the product was purchased, give its full name, indicate the brand or article, the number of units of the product. If there is a receipt, then mention it as proof of purchase.
Step 4
State your complaints about the product, list the deficiencies found. In this case, you can refer to Article 4 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Protection of Consumer Rights" dated 07.02.92. No. 2300-1, which obliges the seller to transfer to consumers the goods, the quality of which complies with the terms of the contract or the requirements of established standards.
Step 5
In the final part, note that on the basis of the above, you are asking to terminate the sales contract with you and return the money for the purchase to you in the amount paid for the goods. Do not forget to indicate in what form the refundable amount should be transferred to you: your bank account details, postal address for money transfer by mail or cash.
Step 6
Please note that if an examination of a product's malfunction is required, then the seller must pay for it during the warranty period. If the warranty period has expired, then the buyer must contact independent experts and pay for the examination himself. The costs will be refunded to you by a court decision if it is in your favor.
