A petition is an appeal to an official about any action in the consideration of legal proceedings, sent in writing. There is no approved uniform form for such a document.
The petition is usually tailored to the specific circumstances. Such an appeal can be sent by both ordinary citizens and organizations, when participating in court proceedings or to appeal against illegal actions on the part of non-governmental organizations or authorities, in order to respect the interests and rights of those who applied.
For example, it can be a petition for assistance to local authorities, replacement of the defendant during the trial, termination of the proceedings, etc.
Instructions
Step 1
In the upper right part of the sheet, compose an introductory letter, with the obligatory indication of the details of the court (address and No. of the court site), the full name of the judge, the full name of the plaintiff and the defendant with addresses.
In case of contacting other authorities - the name of the organization to which the application will be sent and the full name, address of the citizen or the full name of the organization of the originator of the document.
Step 2
In the center of the sheet, write the name of the document "Petition" and directly below it indicate the reason for the appeal, the essence of the request. In the text of the appeal, indicate the circumstances of the case. After detailed explanations and conclusions, state your request with specific proposals for solving the current situation.
Step 3
Under the text of the application, put the date of drawing up the document and a signature with a breakdown of the position, full name of the originator.
