Contact the store where you made the unsuccessful purchase; the seller (manufacturer or importer) is obliged to exchange such goods within seven days after the buyer's declaration, if there is a defect. If you need to check the goods, then in this case you will have to wait for the result of the check within twenty days.

Please note that the warranty period for the replaced product starts from the day of exchange, that is, it is calculated anew.

Step 3

The law speaks in detail about the replacement of goods of proper quality (that is, not because of a defect, but for other reasons) in article 25. You may come home and find that the style, size, color or other characteristics of the purchased item do not suit you. things. In this case, save all the tags, take the store receipt, passport and go back to the store. You have 14 days to apply for an exchange of goods or a refund.

Step 4

Please note that you can return the product only if you have not yet had time to use it. If you lose your receipt, you can use the testimony as evidence, but in this case it will be more difficult to return the item.

Step 5

Many stores declare that items purchased from them during the sale period cannot be exchanged. However, the Consumer Protection Law does not distinguish this group of goods in any way, so you also have the right to exchange or return such goods.

Step 6

However, there is a group of goods that are still not provided for by the Law for return. First of all, these are pharmacy products and medicines, linen and hosiery, products made of fluff, personal hygiene items (for example, toothbrushes, combs, shaving brushes), aerosols, carpets, video and audio products, jewelry, products for babies and some others.
