A garage cooperative is a type of consumer cooperative. Its creation is an association of citizens in order to meet the needs of all participants and an investment in the construction of share contributions (Article 116 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). To register the activities of this community, you must collect a number of documents and register them in the manner prescribed by law.

Instructions
Step 1
Select an initiative group from among those interested in joining together to create a garage cooperative. Most often, members of one cooperative are the owners or users of apartments in nearby houses who have nowhere to park their private cars.
Step 2
Hold a general meeting of everyone who wants to join the cooperative. It is on it that an initiative group of leaders is elected by voting, who will undertake all the paperwork for the creation and establishment of a cooperative community.
Step 3
The elected leaders should hold a meeting with a minutes to include all items considered on the agenda and develop a community charter. In the development of the charter, involve a practicing lawyer who is familiar with all the articles of the current legislation and with the execution of the charter of such organizations.
Step 4
With the charter, contact the local administration to provide a land plot for the construction of a garage cooperative.
Step 5
The elected chairman of the cooperative community is obliged to apply to the tax office and register the community as a legal entity with entry into a single register and receipt of documents for the right to conduct cooperative activities, as well as giving the right to collect share, membership and other contributions with the payment of the tax base in accordance with current legislation at the time the community was created.
Step 6
To start construction, receive a resolution from the administration, issue a lease agreement for a land plot and register it with FUGRTS. To do this, you must conduct a land survey and receive an extract from the cadastral passport and a copy of the cadastral plan.
Step 7
Open a personal account of the organization for making share, membership and other contributions for construction and other works.
Step 8
Call a licensed architect for design, construction sketch and utilities.
Step 9
Contact your district department of architecture and urban planning. Obtain permission for construction work from the chief architect, coordinate it with utilities, fire brigades, SES, energy companies whose communications you intend to connect to garages.
