Every citizen of adult age registered in an apartment has the right to voluntary privatization of housing. It is necessary to submit the documents necessary for registration of the procedure to the Office of the Department of Housing Policy and the Housing Fund at your place of residence.

- - an extract from the house book (if necessary);

- - receipt of payment of state duty.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the Office of the Department of Housing Policy and Housing to complete the privatization procedure. The competent department in this case is the department of privatization and registration of property rights. Provide employees with originals and copies of all identity documents of family members: passports or birth certificates for children under 14 years of age.
Step 2
Confirm the fact that you are participating in the privatization procedure for the first time if you received a residence permit in the privatized housing later than September 1, 1991. To do this, you must additionally provide an extract from the house book, starting from the specified date and up to the present, from which it will be seen that you have not previously gone through the privatization process.
Step 3
Prepare an application for privatization of housing in the "one window" mode, in accordance with the current program. Wait for the application to be verified by the privatization department employees and pay for the paperwork procedure, having received the corresponding receipt. Make sure that the employees of the department made a mark on the acceptance of the application and documents in a special journal.
Step 4
Visit the privatization department after its employees send the necessary request to the BTI. Usually, the participants in the procedure are called to the office by phone or in another way. Bring your passport and state duty receipt with you. This is followed by the procedure for checking and signing an agreement on the privatization of housing, in which all family members over 14 years old registered in this residential area must take part. As soon as the contract is signed, wait for the official registration of ownership by the department employees and get one of the copies of the contract with the seal of the Housing Policy Department and the signatures of authorized persons in your hands.
