Political, economic and social rights of a citizen

In addition to the basic, personal rights of every citizen, the Constitution of the Russian Federation enshrines political, economic and social rights. So, an example of economic law is the right to private property, the right to free use of property, personal abilities for entrepreneurial, other income-generating activities. The political bloc is expressed in the right to participate in the management of state affairs, active and passive electoral right (to elect its representatives or to be elected to the government itself). The Basic Law includes a large number of social rights, among which should be noted the right to work in safe conditions, the right to rest, to receive social security when certain circumstances occur, to education and medical care.

Responsibilities of a citizen under the Constitution of the Russian Federation

The Constitution of the Russian Federation also establishes certain obligations for each citizen. So, one of the basic ones is the obligation to pay taxes and fees established by law, since it is these funds that are the source for the existence of all state institutions. The obligation to protect nature and the environment is of fundamental importance, since its implementation ensures the health of all citizens and the constant use of natural resources. Finally, the Constitution of the Russian Federation establishes the duty of every citizen to protect the country. This obligation is the basis for conscription, but the specific conditions for the conduct of conscription campaigns are enshrined in a special federal law.
