Instructions

Step 1

First, fill out the "header" of the letter of resignation. The upper right corner of an A4 sheet is set aside for it. The order of writing is line by line:

To the director (general director) - check with the personnel department who signs such statements;

OOO "…….";

Full name of the director in the dative case;

from - write your own surname, name, patronymic in the genitive case;

the third line is the title. There should not be any punctuation marks at the end of the lines. Be sure to find out the exact legal name of the company. A company can act under one brand, having a completely different name for the documents. Do not confuse LLC and OJSC, individual entrepreneur and state of emergency, etc.

Step 2

Under the heading, in the center of the sheet, write the word statement in capital letters. You do not need to put a point.

Step 3

Having departed from the word "statement" two or three lines write the text "I ask you to dismiss me of your own free will from … date … of the year."

Under it is the date, signature and its decoding (surname, name and patronymic in full).

Step 4

In some companies, HR employees ask for an article in the Labor Code that regulates voluntary dismissal. Then the text of the statement changes somewhat and looks like this "In accordance with paragraph 3 of part 1 of article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, I ask you to dismiss me of my own free will from … date … year."

Step 5

Sometimes the HR department requires you to specify the reason for the dismissal. And this is legitimate. Then the text of the statement looks like this "I ask you to dismiss me of my own free will in connection with (the reason for the dismissal is indicated) from … date … of the year."

Step 6

There is no regulated template for writing a letter of resignation. Therefore, first consult with an employee of the HR department. Most likely, a sample letter will be provided that is accepted by your company.
