Today, anyone can check the validity of a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation online. This service is provided by the Federal Migration Service of Russia on its website. It is not difficult to use it, while maintaining the confidentiality of the reported passport data.

select the section "Document verification".

On the opened page of the automatic document verification service, select the first item "Checking the validity of a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation".

Next, you need to correctly enter your passport data in the fields marked with an asterisk. In the first field - the series, in the second - the six-digit number itself, without spaces.
To simplify the work of the system and to avoid possible errors, you can specify the date of issue of the passport.
Step 5
Then enter the number from the picture and send your request. The system will immediately give you a monosyllabic answer whether the passport is valid or not. Another option "does not appear" is possible, if the passport does not meet the standards, i.e. false.
