Step 1

Part-time work means an employee has less than 40 hours of work per week. Any employee of the company can be transferred or accepted to work with an incomplete schedule with his consent. And in some cases on demand.

Step 2

In particular, part-time work cannot be denied to: a pregnant woman; a parent raising a child under 14 years old or a disabled child under 18 years old; an employee in whose care is a sick family member; disabled person. Such moments are provided for by Article 93 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, Articles 11, 23 of the Federal Law of November 24, 1995 No. 181-ФЗ "On social protection of disabled people in the Russian Federation."

A part-time employee is paid according to his working hours. At the same time, the duration of the vacation and the procedure for calculating the length of service does not change (Article 93 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). Although vacation pay is counted to a lesser extent, according to the amount in proportion to the hours worked. In the case of a part-time work schedule for these categories of persons, employees must document their right: bring certificates of illness of loved ones, disability, etc.

Step 4

Part-time working hours for an employee can also be established at the initiative of employers, if the enterprise is carrying out organizational and technical measures with a change in essential working conditions. In this case, the period of a part-time work schedule should not exceed 6 months (Article 74 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Step 5

When hiring a new employee on a part-time basis, this fact must be recorded in the employment contract and the corresponding order. And when transferring an already working employee, you need his application, as well as an agreement to the employment contract.

Step 6

In addition, the head of the enterprise must issue a decree establishing part-time work. This does not require a special form and is done arbitrarily. Further, in the time sheet (form No. T-12 or No. T-13), the amount of time actually worked is indicated, according to which wages are calculated.
