A certificate is an official document, which is used when it is necessary to confirm this or that fact. The specialist receiving the certificates must be able to distinguish this document from a fake.

Pay attention to the design of the certificate: the official document must be executed accurately, competently, without corrections. It is typical for organizations to issue a certificate on a letterhead.
Step 3
Be wary if: - the certificate does not contain the mandatory information listed in paragraph 1; - the certificate is compiled with errors, corrections, contains words and expressions that are not typical of the business style of writing; - the name of the organization that issued the certificate is represented by an abbreviation without decoding; - name and the patronymic name of the individual entrepreneur who issued the certificate is represented by initials, his TIN is not indicated; - in the text of the certificate issued by the organization and not issued on letterhead, the address of the organization is not indicated; - certificate from the organization, which, as far as you know, usually draws up documents for letterhead, printed on a simple sheet; - the certificate issued by the organization is signed not by the head of the organization, but by another person; - the signature in the certificate looks like an imprint; - the name of the organization (individual entrepreneur) on the seal does not coincide with the name of the organization (individual entrepreneur), on whose behalf (which) the certificate was issued; - the seal is faint or blurry i, making it impossible to parse the text it contains.
Step 4
If you find the indicated shortcomings, find out from the bearer of the certificate the telephone number of the organization or individual entrepreneur who issued the certificate. You can also find out the phone number yourself by contacting the help desk or using the Internet. Contact the person whose name the certificate is signed and ask to confirm whether the document was actually issued to the bearer and what information it contained.
