Usually, employees who wish to take unpaid leave for family reasons, in connection with the birth of a child, registration of marriage, death of a close relative, in accordance with article 128 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, are entitled to up to five calendar days a year.

Step 2

Put your personal signature on the application, the actual date of its writing. The document is sent for consideration to the director of the company. He must decide whether or not to grant you unpaid leave. He should analyze the reason you wrote in the application. If this applies to those that are spelled out in the organization's local regulatory act on vacation at its own expense, then you should not worry that you will be denied unpaid vacation. In case of consent, the head of the company must put a visa with a date and signature on the application.

If during such a vacation you get sick, then the employer does not have to pay you the certificate of incapacity for work.

Step 4

If you need more than five calendar days a year, then you are eligible to receive it. To do this, you must obtain an employer's agreement. The Labor Code of the Russian Federation does not prohibit such.

Step 5

If the employer refused to grant you leave at his own expense, considering that your departure will cause some consequences for the enterprise, then he has the right to do so.
