Each employee of the organization is entitled to the next annual basic paid leave. But employees do not always have time to take him off on time. In accordance with article 126 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, a specialist has the right to compensate his vacation in cash. To do this, he should write a corresponding statement to the employer.

It is allowed to write an application for compensation for a vacation in any form. In the upper left corner of an A4 sheet, indicate the position of the head of the company, his surname and initials in the dative case. Enter the name of the organization where you work. Write your personal data in accordance with your passport, driver's license or military ID in the genitive case. Indicate the title of your position in accordance with the current staffing table at your enterprise.
In the content of the application, you should state your request that you be paid compensation for the unused vacation you are entitled to. Indicate the number of calendar days for which you would like to receive a monetary allowance instead of taking another leave of absence.
You can find out the number of days of unused vacation by contacting the personnel department of the enterprise, whose employees make notes on your personal card.
Place your signature on the application you wrote and the date it was written. The director of the enterprise must endorse it on the left. The employer does not have the right to refuse compensation if it does not contradict the law.
It should be borne in mind that the employer has the right to pay you compensation for part of the annual leave in excess of twenty-eight calendar days, as well as any number of them.
The employer will not be able to pay you compensation if you belong to such categories as a pregnant woman, an employee who has not reached the age of majority, an employee who works under special working conditions that imply harm or danger. An exception is the dismissal of an employee. The compensation is paid regardless of the category of the employee.
The amount of compensation for unused vacation depends not only on the number of its days, but also on whether you went on vacation at your own expense, skipped, did not work due to downtime due to your fault. The accountant does not take such periods into account. When calculating compensation, the total amount includes only those periods when you were actually present at your workplace and performed your job duties.
