When applying for a job for an employee, the employer asks to provide him with a number of documents. The list of mandatory ones is regulated by labor legislation, namely, article 65 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. The employer may require other documents from the specialist if there are good reasons for that.
The most important document when applying for a job is a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. When you write an application for a position, you should include the last name, first name, patronymic in accordance with the identity document, as well as the address of the place of residence. Passport data are entered into the employee's personal card. A passport is a mandatory document, without which employment is impossible.
If you have not worked anywhere before, and you have not started a work book, the employer is obliged to draw up this document for you in accordance with the rules for maintaining work books. Records of employment / dismissal are made in the work book, which serve to calculate the length of service. Therefore, if you already have this document, then you must submit it to the HR department of the organization. In case of loss or damage to the work book, the employer can create a new book for the employee. In this case, information about the employee's previous jobs is not entered into it. If the specialist wants to issue a duplicate, then the employer will be able to make the appropriate records about the previous places of work of this citizen only on the basis of documents that confirm the fact of work in a particular organization.
When applying for a job, a citizen must submit a document on education (diploma, certificate). If the employee has a secondary vocational and higher vocational education, then he must present a diploma confirming the acquisition of a specialty and attesting to the last education.
A pension plastic card, which is an insurance certificate, is presented by a citizen when applying for a job, if he previously worked and paid personal income tax, and the employer transferred insurance premiums. If the employee was not previously listed as working, then the company is obliged to correct this document.
If the employer requires you to bring a testimonial and a certificate of wages from your previous place of work, then this requirement is not necessary, if you do not want to do this for any reason, since these documents are not included in the list of mandatory ones.
