All parents with children are entitled to child allowance. But many of them simply do not apply to the social security authorities because they are not sure whether they are entitled to compensation from the state. Others are frightened by the huge list of documents that need to be collected in order to issue this assistance. However, you need to apply for benefits. And this procedure will not be long and painful for you if you carefully prepare for the delivery of all documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Child benefits are divided into 2 types: up to 1, 5 and up to 3 years. In addition, there are also the so-called one-time benefits associated with the birth of a baby. For example, in Moscow there is a city compensation payment, which is usually issued together with a lump-sum allowance for young families. To receive such compensation, at least one of the parents must be a Muscovite (and the limitation period of his registration in the capital does not matter).
Step 2
The allowance for young Moscow families is 5 minimum living wages for the birth of one child, 7 for the birth of a second, and 10 for a third. To receive this benefit, both parents must be no more than 30 years old at the time of the child's birth.
Step 3
You can apply for such compensation at your local social welfare office. To do this, you will need to collect a number of documents: passports of both parents, a certificate in a specially defined form from the registry office, a child's birth certificate, marriage certificate and bank account details.
Step 4
Also, young parents can count on a one-time federal benefit. It is paid at the place of work of one of them. If the mother does not work, then the father can easily get it. In the case when the mother is simply on maternity leave, she can register the receipt of this payment in her accounting department. To do this, you need to bring an appropriate application and a certificate from the work of the second spouse that this type of benefit was not credited to him
Step 5
In addition, young families are also entitled to monthly child benefits until they reach a certain age. If the mother is employed and is on maternity leave, then she just needs to write a statement at work and bring a certificate from the registry office. In this case, the employer will pay the childcare allowance until he reaches the age of 1, 5, and then 3 years.
Step 6
If the mother was left without work or, in principle, was not employed, then she has a direct road to receiving benefits again to the social protection department at the place of residence. Take all the necessary papers with you. These are the originals of the parents' passports and their copies, the child's birth certificate and its copy, a copy of a diploma or certificate (for previously employed people - a work book), a certificate from the employment service that the mother is not registered with this organization and does not receive benefits, a certificate of the established form from the father's place of work that he does not use parental leave and does not receive appropriate payments, a certificate of registration of the child at the indicated place of residence, a photocopy of the bank account to which you will receive benefits.
Step 7
For the appointment of a monthly allowance for caring for a child up to one and a half years (it is assigned if the appeal was followed no later than two years from the date of birth of the child), a package of documents must be submitted to social protection. It includes:
- documents proving the identity of both parents, and their copies;
- birth certificates of all children and their copies;
- certificate of marriage and its copy (if the marriage is dissolved, then a certificate of divorce is provided, if any, a certificate of establishment of paternity);
- for single mothers, a certificate of form No. 25;
- certificate of registration at the place of residence of the child (children) and its copy;
- the original and a copy of the work book (for unemployed);
- an extract from the work book, military ID or other document about the last place of work (service), certified in the prescribed manner (for workers);
- a certificate from the place of work (service, study) of the other parent stating that the benefit was not assigned, not paid, and that he is not on parental leave);
- a certificate from the employment center on non-payment of unemployment benefits to the applicant (from the date of birth of the child);
- a certificate from the social security authorities at the place of residence of the other parent about not receiving childcare benefits (for a parent registered in another region);
- a certificate of study (if the parent is a student);
- savings book or account details.
Individual entrepreneurs, in addition to the above documents, need to attach a USRR certificate and a copy of it.
The person replacing the parents, guardian, adoptive parent, adoptive parent must add to the above certificate and documents an extract from the decision on establishing custody of the child (a copy of the court decision on adoption that entered into legal force, a copy of the agreement on the transfer of the child (children) to foster care).
Step 8
Step 9
When the child reaches the age of 1.5 years, the mother will need to go through the entire procedure for applying for benefits again, only to register payments for the care of a child under three years old. The amount of benefits is indexed every year.
