The need to find a job in Italy is faced by those who, for personal reasons, are going to move there for permanent residence. Most of our citizens who have moved to Italy note that it is not easy for a foreigner to find work there, but it is still possible. Much depends on your education and desire, as well as on perseverance.

Step 1
It is important to remember that diplomas from Russian universities are not quoted in Italy and other EU countries. Therefore, the qualifications will have to be confirmed (for example, to graduate from an Italian university by enrolling in a magistracy). Those who hold internationally recognized certificates of proficiency in English (TOEFL and others) can work as English teachers.
Step 2
If you have an Italian diploma, then you can start looking for work on job search sites, through recruitment agencies or Italian friends. The latter method will be optimal, since in Italy they often prefer to hire on the recommendation of acquaintances, which can complicate the search for a job for a person who does not have such acquaintances. In any case, it is worth getting ready for a rather lengthy job search.
Step 3
An uneducated person can only find a fairly low-paying job - a nanny in a family, a construction worker, a waiter, a social worker for the care of the elderly, etc. In principle, it is not difficult to find such a job, since foreigners are willingly hired for such positions, because they can be paid less. However, the level of remuneration for such work is extremely low, and it will be difficult to work, especially at first. A person with a higher education may not be hired for jobs that do not require qualifications, therefore, when sending a resume, it is better to remove the line about graduation from the university.
Step 4
When looking for a job in Italy, it is worth remembering the following features: - in the northern regions, the standard of living and wages are higher;
- women, unfortunately, can be paid less than men, even in the same positions;
- there is no living wage in Italy;
- the most popular areas of employment are engineering, finance, marketing and sales, tourism.
