Step 1

Make a work record book. It can be made both by typographic method and independently. To do this, take several sheets, sew them with thread, the ends of which must be fixed on the back of the book and certified with the seal of the organization. On the sheets, you need to draw a table of thirteen columns. Each page should have its number. This book is used until all the lines have been completed, after which a new one must be framed.

Step 2

Start filling out the book. All information related to the receipt and issuance of work books by the personnel department is entered into it. When registering any action with the labor in the first column, indicate the number under which it was registered upon receipt. If the HR department receives it for the first time, you need to assign it this number.

Step 3

In the second, third and fourth columns, indicate the day, month and year of the employee's registration to work in the organization. Next, write down the last name, first name and patronymic of the person who owns the work book. The series and number of the book should be entered in the next column. On some, this information is not indicated - in this case, you should confine yourself to a dash.

Step 4

In the seventh column, write down the title of the person. It is indicated both in the work book itself and in other documents - the contract, the employee's personal card. Fill in the next column with the name of the department or department where the owner of the book works. Then indicate the number of the document according to which the work book is issued or returned to the owner, this can be an order for employment or dismissal. At the end, the HR officer must sign.

Step 5

Subsequent columns are filled in only when necessary. In the eleventh column, you need to write down the cost of the work book, if the employee pays for it. Columns 12 and 13 contain information about those who quit - the date of termination of the employment contract and the signature of the former employee.

Step 6

If you write something wrong in the ledger, you can correct it. To do this, cross out the erroneous information, write down the correct one beside or in a line below and add the words "Believe corrected" or "Record is invalid." The correction is certified by the signature of an employee of the HR department.
