If you travel with children abroad, then you need to enter the child in the passport of one of the accompanying parents. Also, if necessary, you can enter the child in the passports of both parents.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, remember that only his parents (legal representatives) and no one else can enter the child. You have the right to enter a child in the passport only if he is not yet 14 years old. After reaching this age, draw up your child's own passport. If you enter a child less than 6 years old, then you do not need to take a photo, the parents will simply enter information about the baby in the parents' passport.
Step 2
Please note that the parent's passport, in which the information will be entered, must be valid on time, without any damage and extraneous records, otherwise the document will not be considered valid. Important! Individual biometric foreign passports are issued regardless of the child's age. Even if the baby is only a couple of days old, you must draw up his own document for him.
Step 3
In order to enter a child in your passport, prepare the following documents: a passport and an internal passport with a clear photocopy, a child's birth certificate and a copy. Don't forget to pay the state fee.
Step 4
Submit the documents to the department of registration of foreign passports of the Federal Migration Service. As a rule, the data is entered no later than three business days.
Step 5
If the surnames of the child and the parent do not match, prepare copies of the marriage certificate (establishment of paternity, adoption). Mandatory: an insert about the child's citizenship (stamp of citizenship on the birth certificate) and a copy of it. Take a photo of a child (from 6 years old) - 3 pieces, the size of the photo must be exactly 3.5 cm by 4.5 cm
Step 6
Please note that the child's citizenship insert has now been canceled; currently, a citizenship stamp is simply put on the child's birth certificate in the passport office. If the citizenship is not established, contact the department of the migration service at the place of residence with the internal passports of both parents, a child's birth certificate and a copy of it, an application for establishing citizenship.
