Permanent residence registration is the registration of a citizen at the place of residence. There is also a temporary residence permit, which is only a registration of temporary residence. Unlike permanent registration, temporary registration is given for a period not exceeding 5 years. Buying an apartment, moving to another city, receiving an inheritance in the form of living space - all this, to one degree or another, implies obtaining a permanent residence permit.
