According to the Constitution, every citizen of Russia has the right to freedom of movement - that is, he can live, study or work anywhere in the country. But, nevertheless, he is obliged to notify the state of his whereabouts - therefore, sooner or later many people face the question of how to make a temporary registration - and what is required for this.
Instructions
Step 1
It is necessary to issue a temporary registration if you arrived in the city for more than three months. This applies not only to Moscow and St. Petersburg, but also to all other cities in Russia. At the same time, they do not have the right to refuse to register you (of course, provided that you have correctly completed all the necessary documents).
Step 2
The main prerequisite for making a temporary registration for up to five years is the consent of the owner of the dwelling that you register on its territory. This can be the owner of the apartment you are renting, a relative, or just an acquaintance.
Step 3
To obtain a registration certificate, it is necessary that you or the landlord submit the following package of documents to the district office of the FMS: your identity card, your registration application (with the deadline) and the application from the owner of the apartment in which you are registering. If the apartment has several adult owners, their written consent will also be required. The registration certificate must be issued within three days.
Step 4
In order to register a child under the age of 14, even the consent of the owners is not required - children are registered at the place of residence of their parents without any unnecessary formalities.
