Every citizen who arrives at a permanent place of residence is obliged to issue a permanent registration at the place of residence within seven days. To register, you need to contact the regional office of the migration service with a list of documents provided for by the registration rules. Instructions

Step 1

If you are registering for your own living space, present a certificate of ownership of housing, your passport, a receipt for payment of the state registration fee, the amount of which is provided by law at the time of registration. You will also need a sheet of departure from your previous place of residence. If you have not withdrawn from the registration at your previous place of residence, then the employee of the migration service will send an electronic notification, you will be removed from the registration register and stamped with registration at the new address.

Step 2

In the presence of an employee of the migration service, fill out an application on the standard form. If you have a departure sheet, then registration will be issued in three days. Without a departure sheet, the period of registration can increase significantly.

Step 3

If you are registering on a living space that you do not own, then you will need a notarial permission from the owner or all owners to register or the personal presence of each owner at the migration service and a written statement that registration is allowed, signed in the presence of an employee of the migration service. You will also need your passport, departure sheet.

Step 4

To register a child under the age of 18, permission from the owners of the living space is not required. Only the passport of one of the parents registered at this address, since the registration of the parents is a sufficient basis for registering the child. You must also present a birth certificate, a certificate of ownership of a dwelling, permission from the second parent, if the mother and father live in different territories, a sheet of departure from the previous place of residence.

Step 5

If you are a soldier or a member of the family of a soldier, then you will be registered at the place of deployment of the military unit until the moment you provide living space.
